Welcome to the original English language Poland and Polish discussion group board. This message forum is a place where English-speaking Poles, foreigners (expats) living in Poland, and anyone with a genuine interest in Poland can discuss and read the views of others concerning Poland. Subjects include: Polish news and current affairs; Life in Poland; politics; genealogy research; Polish culture and history; advice and tips on visiting Poland; Polish property and investment issues. The aim of our group is to increase awareness of wonderful Poland using the English language and allow and foster the honest debate and exchange of opinions on anything vaguely related to Poland and Polish - positive, negative and/or neutral! This discussion group is not an open-to-all public message board. Membership is by invitation only and therefore given that a fairly limited number of people have full access, it is more of a community blog than a straightforward forum. This application system was brought in to lessen the amount of spam and nonsensical and commercial posts made by casual visitors and off-topic and offensive posts left by a disruptive minority. To ask a one-off question about Poland or respond to comments made on this board without a password just email us and provided it is at least halfway sensible, we'll post it on the board for all to see and current members will try to respond! In an effort to cut down on the rubbish which has on occasion been posted, the password gate is now in operation again. To apply for a password follow the link below. APPLY FOR PASSWORD Unfortunately, not all password applications will be successful. Having to delete abuse and commercial advertising and lock threads after they degenerate into a name calling frenzy isn't much fun! If you do not receive a reply to your application within 24 hours it probably means one of three possibilities: I - You didn't complete your form fully or your application contained obviously inaccurate information. -> TRY REAPPLYING AGAIN. MAKING SURE THE FORM IS COMPLETED FULLY AND TRUTHFULLY. II - The email we sent you has not been delivered. -> LOOK IN YOUR SPAM BOX OR TRY REAPPLYING AGAIN. III - You have been unsuccessful in your application to join our group. -> SORRY . The most common reason for non-receipt of passwords is that people apply without completing the application form completely. In all such cases application are just deleted. No correspondence will be entered in to with persons excluded from the discussion group.

We are a small community so try to be a nice and friendly as possible to other members. You might not agree with someone but there is no need to resort to treats and abuse . One thread in particular is now locked.
