i am a player
hi i am finally ready to perform again, i have played in area bands for years. i am possibly interested in doing a solo, or looking for a bassist and drummer to do my originals. I have a style, and have written tons of songs. I have a makeshift studio in my home, and i work alot on demos. I like almost any kind of music, but my influences include country or what I have penned as Morthern Country. I have spent a few years trying to become excellent, I'm sure any artist out there knows what I mean. I played all those years paying dues, when I wish I had gotten to know some studio people. I played 4 years with the Duwayne Heyd show, and we acutally did a couple tv shows on channel 4. so i guess i am amaazed that I haven't met any players in the last few years. I am sure there are some out there that think i suck, and others that think I am excellent. I would love to hear anyones response to this thanks for reading it. gordy |

Hiya again Gordy...sorry I mispelled your name in my thread......my memory is fading with the cabin fever I am having!!! I forgot to mention that I am 43 and have been in studios quite a bit in the past....i was a road musician for many years and don't mind travelling or relocating at all....I went through a bad divorce and lost everything...i am here in Kindred with my acoustic guitar....my vocal mic and 2 duffle bags of meager belongings....I am more that ready willing and able to get out there and work....doing whatever needs to be done for the gigs that are there.....versatility is key to survival in the music biz these days.......give me a call and we can talk more if you'd like to Grant @ 701-428-9963. Hope to chat with you soon. |

Duwayne Heyd was a musical joke, that's why you can't find anyone that wants to play with you. Harsh but true. |
