For Running column
Need comments from runners on 2 topics for upcoming columns in the Home News Tribune: --Runner's high. Is there such a thing? Have you ever felt it? Under what circumstances? Do you LOVE running or just do it to keep fit? --A funny thing happened at the races. ANYTHING a little different that happened to you on the way to a race, at the race, on the way home. Such as the time O'Brien dropped his bib down the portojohn, had to be assigned a new number and of course the old one won a raffle prize. Or the time McGill brought 2 right (or was it left?) shoes to a race and wore them anyway and ran. Or at Edison Family Day's very first event when they gave runners 4 straight pins (secured together with scotch tape) instead of safety pins for the bibs. Looking for the lighthearted side of running and racing. Email me at verastek@verizon.net. |
