This is the place to seek information about a WW II veteran of the 34th "Red Bull" Infantry Division from those who might have known him or something about him.
PLEASE put in the Subject line of your search the full NAME and RANK of the soldier, last name first, and his UNIT. We also expect that you will give your name and relation to the veteran. Otherwise you only make work for the staff here.
The more information you can give on the veteran's rank, units, dates, places, battles while with the 34th Infantry Division, his hometown and dates of service in the Army, and about injuries or awards, the more likely it is that we'll recognize your veteran. Bear in mind that 50,000 or more served with the 'Red Bulls' in World War II. Any information you omit just makes it less likely that you will get a meaningful response. Thank you.
