Tres bien ensemble…. I could go on with this darlin’ but I think it’s gonna get into some kind of infringment thing.
Great to hear from you, how are your frozen buns by the way? (Hmmm, interesting mental image there). Sorry we never got together in Colo. Springs last winter, I was stuck in the mountains in my own blizzard and you were snowed in at your Casa. I’m surprised we even had cell phone service that week. Oh btw, just so you don’t worry, I made it back down, even though not one of the trails were visible, I somehow managed not to fall off the mountain. (Those topographic Garmins are fantabulous).
So tell me my dear Moirmaid, where did you ever find that piece of propagating prophetic prophecy ?? I remember penning it but don’t recall for what. Was it a column I wrote, a newspaper letter to the editor, or just another pen-pal letter that I sent to NOAA? Funny how some of those “so-called” rhetorical predictions have come to pass. Maybe I should dust off my crystal ball and find out when your coming back to stir up the pot.
But alas my dear, you should know first that nothing is the same down here except that the politicos are still churnin’ out their back room deals, but now they are evidently doing it without fear of repercussions resulting from the little flies we used to covertly hang on their walls. And guess what ??? Not many shipwrecks are being “found” anymore in the Florida Keys- how ‘bout that!
Well, enough of pining over the good ol’ wars, the dems have blown the horn of retreat and submission- I’m just glad I was around for the hey-day of the “Good Fight” and was a small part of Mel’s revolution when Hell-No meant pay attention to what the citizens of this country want and not your special interest groups. I guess it’s just another swing of the evolutionary pendulum- But I gotta tell ya, I sure liked it when it was going the other way as it lopped off the heads of some of those self-serving politicians who couldn’t tell an escudo from a poodle.
Anyhow, too much reminiscing is making this old brain tired. Guess it’s time for some hot-milk an aspirin and have some kind soul tuck me in bed. By the way, did I spell that right?
