HoHoHo I dont know whether to laugh or cry!
First I CHOKED when I read the [mis] statement about the ATOCHA being the only recovered treasure the state doesnt have ANY PART OF???
!!!!!EXCUSE ME????!!!!! The GD state has ALWAYS gotten the LIONS SHARE of the PICK OF THE FINDS!!! ON ALL RECOVERIES SINCE THE ATOCHA!
Of course, they DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE BECAUSE THEY HAVENT BOTHERED TO INVENTORY IT!!!!! [crack pot horders]they sutff everything they take as their portion and stuff it in UNCLIMATIZED warehouses WITHOUT EVEN STABILIZING THE ARTIFACTS.
Meanwhile the SALVORS have to BY LAW record, inventory and PRESERVE every single item they bring up! AND THEN OFFER THE BEST OF IT TO OUR DEAR STATE MARITIME ARCHEOLOGISTS!
