Well as if hurricanes were not enough to worry about now there has been a 6.0 earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico 450 miles SW of Sarasota Fl. Apparently some folks felt it and the geologists are saying no danger of Tsunamis from the event but in the nearly 30 years that i have lived in and around FL this is the first time I have heard anything like an earthquake! Ahh good old mamma nature, always a curve ball or two to keep the species that live on the surface in line and to show who really is the boss!
