Individual States need to stand up and DEMAND that the shipwrecks in their waters belong to them and their citizens as was granted by Congress in the ASA of 1987.
More and more States are becoming shell-shocked and blind-sided by the knowledge of their own Federal Government coming in on the side of Spain and raping them of their own property as witnessed in the 4th Circuit Court in Virginia. Even a legitimate State permit could not prevent these two governments from “pirating” a legitimate citizens claim to his recovery.
This is why we must query our representatives as to where they stand on these issues- Are they in favor of allowing us to recover our own cultural heritage in our own waters or do we hand it over to a foreign national who will reside over the jurisdiction of that area in our own waters just to let the shipwrecks rot under our noses? Ask them that question and tell them that your vote coming up soon depends on their CORRECT answer! |
