Message:   Great quotes in that piece Jim. I particularly like their, ‘stay out of the water out of respect for the dead’ mentality:

"Britain "wants to protect the remains of our servicemen and women who have lost their lives serving their country," the British Embassy said.

There may be a hitch: Nobody died when the Fantome hit a shoal and took hours to sink. A British Embassy official in Ottawa, speaking on condition he not be identified by name, said London is concerned about remains of any Britons in the area strewn with other British wrecks Britain "wants to protect the remains of our servicemen and women who have lost their lives serving their country," the British Embassy said."

Another "Beaming" example of incomprehensible Bureaucratic logic. It doesn't matter what country you're in- the Politicrats don't care if it makes any sense, logic is not their concern- Control must be kept at all cost!- even Common Sense!

The logical conclusion would be to keep all divers out of the water everywhere out of respect for all those who drowned in the same ocean. No wonder the spokesperson wanted to remain anonymous- it’s called plausible deniability. Anyone see a pattern forming here?
