Nice looking chest. It does look like it just came out of a "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, except for it's size. 7.5". Might have been a woman's jewelery box. One thing is pretty sure, it didn't come out of the ocean.
Nice conversation piece though- If you can afford that kind of conversation that is.
