I just love it every time I hear some Johnny come lately curator or archo claim: "This is the first project where things are properly done!" Someone needs to inform them that they probably wouldn't be doing what they are now doing if it hadn't been for many of the pioneering spirits of the past. Perhaps a few history lessons in contemporary historic shipwreck recovery along with their science course's might be in order.  |
