Some of you might have seen the premier of the Travel Channel's new series, "The Best Places to find Cash & Treasure" which aired on Dec. 5th. Or, some of you might just be waiting for the segment on Treasure Hunting on Dec. 12th. which will undoubtedly be the best segment in the series. (Although I'm not at all biased on this btw).
A few months ago Indigo Films asked me to film the underwater scenes for this new series which debuts with an attractive and very vibrant new hostess, Becky Worly. On our second underwater shoot on the Atocha site Becky found her first silver coin lying under some coral rubble on the bedrock. Her excitement shows in her air bubbles as she frantically moves the coin to and from my camera lens and then grabs Kim Fisher and practically shoves it into his facemask.
On our dive a few days later on the Santa Margarita site, where the current has been known to carry people halfway to Cuba if they’re not careful, Becky uses every muscle in her curvaceous body to pull herself along the bottom to look for treasure. She is definitely a trooper.
Don’t miss this exciting new show next Tuesday night Dec. 12th when the Travel Channel Film crew meets Mel Fisher’s Golden Crew for some real treasure hunting adventures. In the meantime take a look at some of these behind the scenes shots out on the Atocha site.
