Exterior stain problems with Sikkens, need suggestions
We have a six year old log home with Sikkens 3 coat system. It was applied when build and re-applied twice since then. We have horrible flaking, mold, mildew and rotten logs. We are in the process of replacing rotten logs, getting estimates for sandblasting off Sikkens and need a good stain for Southern Michigan climate. Any thoughts on Woodguard? Or any other? |

Sounds like you need to redo the whole house. Look into the stuff from Perma*****. It's a little pricey but should pay off in the long run. Good luck. |
