Just about finished with are log home!
Hi new to board,My wife and i are just about done with are full scribe log home. Its aprox 5800 SF,what a job and a learning experiance.were in northwest Mi. Happy Thanksgiving |

Congratulations! My husband and I are entering the final stages of finishing our log home. We are in North Carolina and have been lucky to have a very mild winter. I am actually a Michigan girl myself. I was born in Saginaw and have lived many places - mostly north of Detroit in the burbs. Are you going to post any pictures? We have lots and are thinking of posting - not sure if we can do this on this website - we are new to this board. Are you acting as your own general contractor or did you hire it out? We are our own GC and have subbed out alot of the work, but have done a tremendous amount ourselves. Take care and good luck finishing the house!
