new technique for wiring a log home
I recently visited a log home comapnies show room in Utah and they had a really cool new product for log homes. They used a battery-free wireless light switch system in the log home. This means they didn't have any wires going from the lights to the switches! They said with this technolgy you don't have to drill holes for the wires and you don't have to route out a spot for switch boxes because the wireless switches mount directly to the log. This sounds like a great idea! I just wanted everyone to know :) |

This seems like a pretty neat idea. I'm an electrician and I do the electrical in log homes every once and a while.The routing and drilling is a major pain. I bet by using wireless switches I would get the job done in about half the time. Thanks Curtis!! |
