Coach of the Year Nominations Due Feb 15th!
Hey all! Just wanted to remind everyone that nominations for the Canadian Coach of the Year are due February 15th (approx. two weeks). All cheer coaches spend countless hours preparing for practices, developing athletes and routines, organizing fundraisers and counseling their athletes through thick and thin. This is your chance to officially recognize your coach within the Canadian cheerleading community for all of his/her hard work and dedication to you! I am looking for coaches who have shown outstanding dedication and commitment to their team(s) and the sport as a whole. Nominations may be submitted by fax, mail or email. Please include the following: • Name of coach • Team(s) they coach • Why you feel this coach deserves some recognition. This part is up to you and can include (but is not limited to) number of years coaching, effects on your school/organization or the cheerleading community as a whole, effects on you personally, battles won and lost, how she/he handles difficult situations, organizational skills, etc. There is no minimum or maximum length but the more information you provide the better. You can also submit nominations for more than one person. • Your name and contact information. All Canadian coaches (club/allstar, school & university) are eligible for this award. Anyone may nominate a coach or coaches. Voting will made of all nominations by a panel of coaches and judges. Isn’t it time your coach got some much needed recognition?
