For those who do not know, the Fair Tax Act is a extravagant proposal to have national sales tax of 23% with rebates for those under the poverty level.
I have taken time to read and scan 133 pages. It is way to get Internet sales taxed along with any cross state sales. I am not exactly sure how this is a very fair tax. The middle class will once again be hit the hardest. Even barter transactions will be deemed taxable, along with some employee discounts.
No Taxes for Investments, who does this help?
