Some will use it (The Confederate Toilet Paper!) and some will not! LOL! That goes for anything that people "say" they have an allegiance to. Some feel it and will lay down their life for it and others will wear it outwardly because it is the fashion of the day. But when it comes time to "wipe", we all will find out who truly has the conviction toward the cause!
Thank you for your kind words but I must say that you too have been a blessing in my life and have helped me through some rough times. Your talents and abilities have no bounds and are directly given to you for a purpose from the one true mighty God above. You have inspired me beyond measure and have helped me to focus my time and energy like a laser. When two creative individuals get together and brainstorm, oh what a creation comes forth!
This coming year I wish (God willing) to "bump" it up a bit and really raise the bar. There are specific areas that I hope to target in my political cartoons and writing as my goals have been redefined through the feedback and unexpected rush of appreciation that I received this year from the many wonderful people I have had the pleasure of communicating with from all over the entire world.
I crave the feedback as it gives me a gauge as to what folks want to see and the issues that they want me to address. I find it so amazing that a pen, pencil some paper and a little creative energy can touch so many minds....it's now an overwhelming addiction for me!And I do mean that in a positive way. I carry a small pad with me and my drawing pen with a few pencils at all times. The funny thing is that when I run across a moment in the slow supermarket checkout line or a traffic jam, I rejoice because it is an opportunity for me to sketch an idea or to write down a thought. This is how 85% of the art & writing on the ScurvOriginalz website is done! I must be very focused as to how I utilize my time so I can draw, write, and design everything visual on the site....Many do not understand that I do not have a team or associates who do most of the dirty work for me, I do it all myself! I think up the BlackHeadz characters or maybe I might run into someone in passing who inspires one into creation. A thought may come to me for the "Speaking My Mind" page or a story that I may think is interesting for the "Are You Tripping" gossip blog. And of course the "Scurv Art Gallery" page, you are going to love the new one I am doing now for it. I want to get into drawing more celebrities that the world can identify with. I think that will make the site more universally accepted. I am also on the lookout for someone who can help me with some flash presentation for a new page that I hope to create with a universally spiritual theme. So much and I am excited! Kind of makes me not scared of old age! As long as I have my ideas and paper with my laptop, I will draw until the dear Lord calls me! Now wouldn't THAT be something?
