I understand your feelings carolines but you came in with big dreams the recruiter sold you and really searching to find who you are and some of that you found and on the other hand you discovered in everything there is bad..the old saying bitter with the sweet..your eyes was open when they was closed when you joined, Iraq showed you the raw and real deal in life and how sensless things can be in life and life can be took in a flash and pull of the trigger,,You going threw what alot of us combat soldiers call GET SOME!!,,THAT THRILL and rush of the unknown while on convoy and want to feel alive like you was when you was in...yeah apart of you hate the orders and confusion at times, but when everything was in order it was exceiting and made you know what you was made of,, I,m thinking if you did 8 yrs, you left a SSG or SGT. which you controlled some of the madness coming to you..And you bond with other soldiers is hard to find in the civ world and they don,t add up to your army friends and you see the weakness in them..like I said your eyes are open and they will never close again..and the best type of job for you is to be a contractor for the DOD,,you,ll be around them but not really in..it may help you deal with what you are going threw, the withdrawl is hell trust me..lol..but you,ll come threw sis,,holla. |
