Looking for another TT puppy
Hello, Does anyone know of any litters available at the moment or know of anyone needing to rehome a female TT? We are looking for a companion for Rosie our 8 month old TT. Many thanks Kim |

There are a few puppies listed on the kennel club website (www.thekennelclub.org.uk) in the Puppy Sales Register but I don't know if they are still available. I regularly look at this site for TT's as its nice to dream about getting another but my other half thinks that two is enough!!

hi, there are some advertised on E-pupz in Lancashire 4 ******* i think, also Audrey Bates ( olliers TT's ) is mating her ***** she is away at the moment though (until 1st July ) her e-mail address is Ollierstts@aol.com. I got Millie from her and she was really helpful. I think she also had an older one she was looking to rehome. hope you find one soon Helen |

Hi many thanks to the replys so far. I have phoned the people on the kennel club website (the ones that I can get hold of) no luck. I have also sent to emails to the people in Lancs advertising on epupz over the last few days, but no reply. I shall continue my search. There was a lady rehoming an 8 month old TT female which would have been perfect as Rosie is 8 months, but I missed her by 1 day

I would also like to find an older TT but what's the best method to do so. Most breeders advertise puppies. I am curious how you found yours Kim |

There was big disapointment when we went to pick up the female tibetan. We were told that she was 2 1/2 yrs and had never been breed from. The lady said that she clipped her dogs when not being shown - which was fine with us, but all the other dogs we saw where in full coats. This one wasn't just clipped - it was nearly shaved, but very badly - lumps out of the fur everywhere. She had a big sore behind one of her ears, her eyes were very wet and weepy. Her tail didn't curl over her back. Also for a ***** that had never had any litters her nipples were massive - like one of my females years ago who had had a few litters. She was very lethargic wouldn't play with my female although the other dogs would. She would walk a few paces then just lie down. She was affectionate enough, but I think her age was nearer 12. I think the lady was having us on. I don't know why as my female came from the same breeder. On the up side of things the next day we found a little 6 month old male TT that needed a new home. He has fit in perfectly. We had never considered a male before - I don't know why, he's a sweetie. Going back to one of the other questions - I phoned several breeders and the only had young puppies but one of them told me to ask the breeders if they had any dogs that they had held back from previous litters to show themselves. Because sometimes they will hold 1 or 2 back to run on against each other and then choose their favorite of the two. Sometimes one of the dogs they choose doesn't like to show, so they then re-home them. |

Wow , thats a pretty scary story. I am glad you found what you were looking for. I got my female at 2 and she was a show dog in her prior life. I appreciate the help. |
