Luckenbach times 2
Well, we just finished unloading th' old RV and this is the first place I wanted to go to was TMN's website. After a whirlwind tour of playing "Luckenbach by the tree", the "screen room" at the Armadillo Farm campground, and "Luckenbach Dance Hall," I had pretty much fulfilled some true musician's dreams. Just to stand on "The Stage", where so many country music legends had stood before, was almost overwhelming to a plain ol' country boy like me. Then to be able to go back the next weekend to Luckenback to perform at Mike Blakely's "Fandango" was almost too much to absorb into my heart. For those of those of you came and played with us, you are of my blood... for those who came just to support us, to help us, and hear some great country music performers...you are our soul. Special thanks to the following: Gay, your just special... Charlie, no words of thanks could repay you for all you did... Wade, Glenda, Robin, and Bill (especially Glenda) from the bottom of my heart, all my love. Jason and Christy, special thanks. Donna, Linda, Cissy, and Marge... best girls in the world. Now the serious part: John, your harp lifts my soul... Ronnie, my brother from another mother, look me in the eye and let's kick some a--!, finally, Bodie, for guidance, reassurance, and just the chance to be me, thank you, thank you. Thank you one and all. Finally, to Sandi, the most wonderful wife in the world, thank you for your love, honesty, and total support. 143, more... every day.
