Brandon Jenkins Benefit - Nov.27th
The Brandon Jenkins Band lost $7,000 worth of equipment and merchandise in a trailer theft in Austin in October. The Clubhouse Concerts Series, MavRik Magazine and The White Elephant are joining together for a benefit for Brandon and his band on Sunday Nov. 27th at The White Elephant Saloon in Ft Worth. There will be many Texas/Red Dirt musicians on hand, including Stoney LaRue, The Mike Mancy Band, Brandon Jenkins Band and members of The Stragglers, to name a few. We are soliciting donations for Brandon and someone suggested that we might request a donation from Texas Music Nation. I have emailed Bodie Powell, but not heard back, so I thought I would try to contact someone through this forum. I had told Jason (at the Elephant) that I would give up my slot Sunday for the benefit. Donna has been in the hospital having surgery so we've been out of touch for a few days, but I plan on being there and, of course TMN will help. I would never ignore a request from a fellow musician. |
