Fibromyalgia video contest, pls vote by 11th May!
As many of you know, I have been trying to raise awareness and my friend made a documentary about my life with fibromyalgia and he interviewed my mum and sister too. It has been entered into the PANDORA video contest and if it wins it will be aired as a Public Service Announcement throughout the USA and shown at medical conferences worldwide. If you go to http://www.pandoranet.info/advocacyvideocontest.html you will see the contest entries. The 1st 2 are for Fibromyalgia and the 3rd & 4th are in the M.E./C.F.S. category. A separate winner will be chosen for each category, so you can vote for one fibromyalgia video and one M.E./C.F.S. video as well if you like. As the winning video will reach a LOT of people, I thought I'd give you the opportunity to watch both fibromyalgia entries and vote for the one you want to be represented by. Mine is the 1st one but I'll forgive you if you prefer the other one  There's no "prize", just that the winning video will be the one that gets aired. I won't actually get anything for it! To vote, all you have to do is send an email to contact@pandoranet.info with the title and category of your favourite video as the email subject heading, & a brief explanation of why you feel that video should win. I received an email a few days ago saying that the results will be announced on or around the 12th of May depending on when the judges can get together. So results have to be in before the judges meet on the 12th. I'm getting very excited, this is going to raise a lot of awareness! Best wishes, Holly / ******** |
