Magdalene Center week of fundraising
Greetings NoHo, The Magdalene Center is sponsoring a week of fundraising events, check the Noho Arts District page or the Magdalene calendar (www.themagdalenecenter.com). We are a cultural arts center and boutique and in our first few months fell short one month of rent. Our landlord did not want to work with us and has placed us in eviction (after he said he wouldn't) and we are scrambling to stay open. We love Noho and want to stay and grow with the community. Does anyone have any experience with evictions (heaven forbid)? Or is anyone interested in partnering with us or investing in the center. We are unique and important to the community. In any case drop by the center (12-8 W-Sat and 12-6 on Sunday! |

I was very impressed with the goods and good vibe of the Magdalene shop. I purchased two books, "The Male Thing Explained" by Edward Lee Goldstein and "Arousing the Goddess" by Tim Ward, both being money well spent. NoHo needs to support such little gems or we're going to loose them. It's a 4822 Vineland next to where Iliad Books used to be. |
