Dog Poop
How can we get dog waste bag dispensers installed and maintained in our North Hollywood parks?! Not only is the waste unattractive, but it is also a hazard to other dogs/animals/residents and our waterways! Two places that I frequent that could use the dispensers are the Tujunga Park on Tujunga and Magnolia, as well as the stretch of pavement and plants on the west side of Vineland from Magnolia to Riverside. Dog owners leaving their pet's feces for "nature" to deal with are ruining our neighborhoods. |

The Italians say that stepping in a heaping pile of dog dung is good luck. I never agreed but we have a solution. The NoHo Business Improvement District (BID) is underway. Hopefully you all have seen our bike patrol and clean up crew out and about in our District. They just opened up offices at 5026 Lankershim Boulevard. I hope that you will stop by to say hello and let them know your concerns. If anyone can clean up the doggie mess it's the BID...they've already started making our streets look snazzy.
