2008 NoHo Arts Festival
When is the festival at Lankershim and Magnolia this year? I can't find info on it anywhere. |

The NoHo Theatre & Arts Festival which happened in May has been discontinued. A new festival called NoHo Scene was created to celebrate and promote the district. The festival is being held Sunday, Oct 5 from 11AM to 8PM. Details of the festival will be available at the beginning of August on nohoartsdistrict.com There will be free theatre, dance, music, art exhibits and demonstrations, film screenings, acting, art and dance workshops, fashion shows, and an array of children’s art activities. Also, it will be a great shopping day in NoHo with more than 40 businesses providing discounts and giveaways. Nancy |

Will they be closing down the streets in NoHo for the NoHo Scene? It sounds like there will be a lot going on but is that just wishful thinking. The NoHo Arts Festival started as a wonderful community festival that celebrated theater and then grew into a pretty fantastic street party arts festival before it lost its way. I think it's sad that it will be no longer. But it'll be great if the NoHo Scene can replace it with something even better.
