Re: marine style spas 12

I found similar examples up for auction before. After hunting the forum thread down, this is what Chris had to say about them:

"Yeah, I looked at that. I have no real way to know if they made any stainless versions. I have been told of some factory nickel-plate, and FIE once chrome-plated one to give to the top dealer or some such story.

So DO NOT bust this guy's balls with my opinion to follow, just an opinion. David (our toolmaker) and I are skeptical of a stainless gun. If magnets don't stick, then it is stainless. If they stick then it is a high-carbon stainless or plated. No easy non-destructive test. The high-carbon stainless will also rust a bit, so that isn't even a test. Caution is advised."

I really don't think that will hold 10 shells. Look at the size of the choke compared to the size of the barrel, they oth look like they are standard size. IF it really does hold 10 shells, which I highly doubt, it must be really modified internally to accomplish that.

Re: marine style spas 12

9 1 makes more sense from looking at that picture, but as far as I can tell, no one ever made a 9 1 steel tube. If anyone has a line on who is making steel tubes, I'm interested.

No offense Chris, but I would like metal.... Anyone have any welding experience?? If you do, I have a few 1 extensions that we could cannibalize

Re: marine style spas 12

Looks like the model used by, "some Navy Seals and select Marines," has been reposted. Getting lower each time.
