Message:		Have you tried talking to your bank about this? Have you tried filling out an unauthorized withdrawel of funds form? Is your debit card backed up by a VISA logo? If so, you may have some recourse. If you haven't called your bank, you should try doing so now. You may have allowed the company to possess your card number, but that doesn't give them the right to withdraw funds willy-nilly. Call your bank manager and find out what your rights are before you just let them get away with it. As far as the legality of keeping your credit card on file indefinitely, that doesn't sound quite right either. You really ought to speak to your bank ASAP and tell them these funds were withdrawn without your permission. After that, deal with DirectTV themselves. Why did they withdraw that money from a closed account? Did you owe it to them or did they just take it out as a deposit? How long ago did you give them that account information? Something just doesn't seem on the up and up about it. But, I would not just sit back and take it over that kind of money... Especially if you start adding up the overdraft fees.
