We're not aiming to edit or remove posts, but obviously racist, violent and libelous posts will be removed. People impersonating other posters and/or posting under their name will find themselves banned. Site Update - Who Remembers Murphy's Mob ???
The shops in Leven thread, coupled with doing a lot of historical research for the site and moving away from Scotland has had me on a bit of a trip down memory lane of late. One such avenue my trip has taken me down is reminiscing about some of my favourite childhood TV shows. And one of my all time faves is MURPHY'S MOB. Remember it? Well, whether you do or not, check out our new article all about it HERE. There's even some video clips of the show. And not only that we also have an exclusive AFTN interview with one of it's main stars - Wurzel! AKA Lewis Stevens the actor. Check it out and talk about your own memories of the show here. And for all you fellow memory lane trippers, we have an article on Jossy's Giants to follow. Enjoy

Superb stuff GoF! Murphys Mob was one of my favourite programmes back in the day and I even had the theme tune as my ring tone on my mobile untill recently. How on earth did you line up the intrview? |

So true! I didn't know you had that as a ringtone Stew. That's really weird but in a good way (like me!). Have had some other interviews lined up that haven't come off yet though (one was with Arnie and one with Craig Demmin), but you can't get them all. But good news is that I've asked Kenny D to do an interview for the site once he's settled in a bit in Utah, so that should be a goer. |

I found out on imdb film database that Micky Dolenz of The Monkees was the director of Murphys Mob, is this true? |

Yeah! I actually meant to put that in the article but forgot. He didn't direct it all though, just some of the 54 episodes. Remember Metal Mickey? That was a lot to do with him as well. |
