Colin Cameron
Left MK dons played for dundee as a trailst this week linked with East Fife in player/coach capacity http://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/output/2008/07/10/story11632631t0.shtm Dundee boss Alex Rae was keeping his cards very close to his chest today about the prospect of Colin Cameron joining the club (writes Graeme Finnan). The former Scotland midfielder featured as a trialist in the pre-season friendly against Stirling Albion last night, and stood out as the Dark Blues cruised to a 3-0 win. It’s fair to say the addition of Cameron, who helped MK Dons to the League Two title in England last year, would go some way to compensate for the loss of Scott Robertson and Kevin McDonald last month. However, the Dens men would face stiff competition for the experienced 35-year-old’s signature. Today, though, Alex was staying tight-lipped on the prospect of the former Hearts man joining the club on a permanent basis, preferring to concentrate on another satisfying pre-season outing. He said, “We had Colin in to have a wee look, but we haven’t made him an offer or anything like that. He won’t play against Cowdenbeath on Saturday and we have a few other things in the pipeline. “We’d like to have him back to have another look, but Colin has other options and has gone back down south, so we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.” It’s believed one of those other options could be a contract at Port Vale, while, closer to home, East Fife may try to lure Cameron with the offer of a player/coach role |

My mate is a big Hearts fan and went up to talk to him in HMV in Kirkcaldy many moons ago. Got up to him, said 'buh buh buh' then ran away. Much hilarity. |

Please Yessssss. If he's still fit (aged 35) - he'd make a massive difference. Icing on the cake with regard to the present squad. Also - watching the biggest modern day rovers hero trot out at starks in the black gold would be an amazing sight. |

Cameron is a away back down South and if you think for one minute he would want to sign for a little Scottish Second Division, your off your trolley.Cameron is destined for a much bigger team than you.If it`s not down South it will be Hamilton or Dundee. |

"if you think for one minute he would want to sign for a little Scottish Second Division" Nobody suggested that he was going to sign for the Second Division, which by the way has the same number of teams as the First Division, and only two less than the SPL. It is good that he has an agent with a superb grasp of the English language though. |

No, cannot happen. Anon said it wouldn't happen and I believe him. He told us we will have an all seater stadium and eh well.... We still have an all seater stadium. I think he is really good and is like some of those folk that can talk to dead folk that can tell you really accurate information like you have a relative that died after an illness and stuff. Don't listen to TOC, he is just cynical. |

DHAS. Anon and I seem to be the only ones who know what is happening at Bayview. We had a discussion tonight on our scrambled telephone line and although he has declined my bet on stadium development he has announced the following. "I have it from a top level source that EF will run out of pies before or during half time on a least 18 occassions this season" Try and top that - if you dare |

TOC, I see your pie prediction and raise you 10 free seats on a fully booked supporters bus vacated by folk that now find themselves washing their hair that Saturday afternoon. |

Think he'd be a quality signing, despite being an ex-wraith...we have 1 or 2 of them now, they all see the light in the end. lol. May be 35 but played at a much higher level last season. Would welcome him with open arms. |

Please come back on line Anon. Put this pretender to your throne in his place. I predict SPF will go ballistic if EF announce the strip will include black shorts. |
