Disappointed Fifers face student test
EAST FIFE assistant coach Graeme Irons is looking for a vastly improved performance from his side this evening when Edinburgh University visit Bayview. The Methil side slumped to a disappointing 2-0 defeat against East of Scotland outfit Spartans on Saturday but, even though results mean little at this stage of the season, it was the manner of the defeat which would have concerned those in attendance over the weekend. “Everything was unacceptable, the attitude and the workrate, and we need to make sure that we improve when Edinburgh University come here,” Irons admitted. The Fifers made nine substitutions overall during Saturday’s defeat and fans should expect something similar from their side this evening. Kick-off for tonight’s game is 7.30pm and admission will be £5 for adults, £2 for children. |
