The night's game?
Heard it was 0-0 at half-time. Any further news? I hate friendlies...

Okay I know it was only a pre-season friendly to get match fitness but I would have expected a little bit more from the players - for there prides sake if nothing else - only Paul McManus seemed to be putting an effort in - and the rest seemed to forget it is a team game and tried to do everything on there own - and then why they tried a pass it was for the most part woefully inaccurate - when Chris T passes a ball he seems to think it has to go via the moon - giving the passee little time to control it before being tackled - a pass along the ground is quicker Chris - however with quite a number of games over the next week or so and a few stalwarts back into the team who were not playing tonight we should be ready to kick off the season |

I thought the left back for East Fife had a really good game. Any info on who he was? |

Giving experienced, proven football players advice makes me laugh. Here's some advice, if you're going to do a big post. Try - and - post - what - you - want - to - say - with - some - full - stops - and - commas - and start and finish sentences instead of ONE BIG SENTENCE 'punctuated' with lots of dashes. |

I felt Templeman did OK apart from some wayward shooting and McManus was excellent. In my view most of the problems are coming from midfield where some players are not yet fit and others have not yet reached last year's form.Agree about the young left back - didn't let the early mistake upset him and got better and better as the game went on. |

Thought that the overall attitude was far better last night than on Saturday. Fair enough if the guys are still short of match fitness - that's why they're doing double training sessions and having half a dozen friendlies... They'll be fine by the time the season starts on 26th....

i have said it before and i will say it again. temps and mc manus just does not work, iwould play paul and the bobbie up front together as they seem to have a good understanding together and have got goals off each other. big temps i would have just behind them in a holding roll and he can feed off the scraps off them. |
