Hmm maybe. Think that midfield lacks a bit of creativity and pace mind.

Re: our strongest eleven.

Team lacks width. Baikie likes his 4-4-2 and so do I (unless we have the players to go 4-5-1, which we don't).

Nugent Smart Tweed Cameron
Linn Stewart Crawford Stanic
McManus Templeman

thought the exact same as you grant1903.

Although against the rovers, I'd take brown off, play two at the back and bring on 3 more strikers

Personally I Think We Should Play With Stanic At Left Back With Dougie At Left Mid Because Of His Ability To Cross

Re: our strongest eleven.

I'd still have blackadder around though as his crosses give goals. Maybe we need a rule change to allow special teams like in the NFL.

Re McDonald - I doubt he'll get more that 15 league starts this season, and have promised to eat my shoes if I'm wrong.

Re: our strongest eleven.

I Think Greig Will Play In A Majority Of The Games Even if It Is As A Sub Because He Can Play Anywhere Across The Back Four & He Can Play In Midfield So I Think He Will get More Games Than Most Expect Well I Hope So Anyway

Re: our strongest eleven.

Pardon my probable ignorance ( Have been away from Scotland for many years, but still follow East Fife here and on other sites ) WHY did the old formation of 5..3..2 get the chop ??? Have the new line ups proved any better Just curiosity !!

Re: our strongest eleven.

Basically, the game evolved. My old man blamed Alf Ramsay for his "Wingless Wonders".
The last successful team to adopt the 2-3-5 were probably the Lisbon Lions. By then, the continental sides had realised that to be successful you not only had to create goals but also to prevent them...
