Sarah Brady has informed me that Jim Brady is going through some major health battles and I wanted to solicit your prayers and good wishes for him. Last year Jim nearly lost a leg to a severe infection, which set in after surgery to repair a broken knee. He had a long and difficult road to recovery from that and is now in a bigger fight, with cancer. As you might expect from him, Jim vows to fight this with every ounce of strength and determination he has. It will help greatly if we all pray for and encourage him.
Jim was a system officer and was the CO in Kef during my second tour there. He was a tremendous commanding officer and perhaps the most ardent supporter of his troops I have ever known. Hopefully our combined support in return will make a difference for him and Sarah. Thanks!

I never knew Commander Jim Brady, nor his wife Sarah. From Randy's posting, I can see that he is a fighter and will give it his all. I will pray for the complete healing from this terrible disease, comfort for Sarah and their family.
