I am looking for any documents or other records connecting William Ruddock b. circa 1689 with wife Alice who is found in Penn's colony (today's Pennsylvania, USA) to Captain Andrew Ruddock or any other Ruddock in the County Down or County Cork region and/or to compare DNA results with a descendant of Captain Andrew Ruddock, http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Reddick-r320/index.aspx This William Ruddock is my fifth great grandfather. I have a completed 67 markers DNA test results posted on the Reddick/R320 DNA Surname Project website. To date the only match I have is to a first generation American Irishman by the name of Michael Hull who was born in County Down. We match perfectly through 57 markers, deviate by one at 58 and then match again through the remaining markers. Thus far we find no connection but we obvious share a common ancestor. William Ruddock is my surname's first generation here. From 1700 forward I have a good genealogical history established on my surname which changed to Ruddick circa 1770.
