Knight of Kennett Square, I don't even know what Kennett Square is?
I'd have to go with an old timer on this one.

I have no idea where Kennett Square is either.Tha answer is Herb Pennock.I think he pitched back in the 20s.

I had Herb Pennock on one of my Strat-O-Matic teams back in the 60's. He was on the 1927 Yankees, going 19-8.
His career spanned from 1912 to 1934, winning a total of 240 games.
BTW, the nickname comes from his hometown,
Kennett Square, PA.

Thanks,very interesting,I thought he was from Boston,they have lots of squares up there.Scully,Kendall places Charley road thru on the MTA.
