I have no idea where Kennett Square is either.Tha answer is Herb Pennock.I think he pitched back in the 20s.
I had Herb Pennock on one of my Strat-O-Matic teams back in the 60's. He was on the 1927 Yankees, going 19-8. His career spanned from 1912 to 1934, winning a total of 240 games. BTW, the nickname comes from his hometown, Kennett Square, PA.
