Who holds the career record for shutouts pitched?

My first thought was Walter Johnson. But, since this question is from Bob there is a chance it could be Bob Feller.
I'll go with Johnson, that is my "final answer".

I agree with Jimi that any question from Bob = an Indian answer but Feller missed a few years in the service so I think it is Johnson also,but to be different I will pick Cy Young,the guy won 511 games so some of them must have been shutouts.
