This just in from Northern VA, land of the rare snow storm ... Mary and I just shoveled 8+ inches of snow from the driveway and deck and it's still snowing like a SOB. They are now saying we may get another 20+ inches.

SANTA BETTER BE REALLY GOOD IF WE WENT TO THIS MUCH TROUBLE TO MAKE HIM FEEL LIKE HE IS HOME AT THE NORTH POLE!

We even got a little of that white stuff here in the central valley, first time since '72. Before that, '61.
But, we didn't have to do any shoveling, it melted off by the late morning, early afternoon.
We had some very cold days, cold for us anyway.

Jimi... I would say more evidence of global warming, but I won't cause that would be termed polictial. LOL
