If you haven't seen this, you're doing yourself a disservice. I was just watching this again, and still couldn't stop laughing and all through this wonderful movie, I couldn't help thinking, wouldn't it have been great if they did a comedy movie like this using all the actors that played a murderer in Columbo?

And by all means see "Murder By Death," which is almost a companion piece to "The Cheap Detective".
