Strange question re: Death Lends a Hand

Good morning. I am pretty much a life long Columbo fan, but on a recent rewatch I noticed something really weird in Death Lends a Hand. In the beach house where the murder is comitteed there is a painting hanging on a wall in the background. It is modern, somewhat abstract, but seems to feature a black image of a native american tomahawk. The weird part? That painting is hanging on my wall, less than ten feet away from me as I type.

Does anybody know anything about the set design of the series during season one? For years I have been trying to track down information on my painting, and I the first clue I get is from my fav TV series of all time!

I can't guarantee it, but this web site might be able to help:

http://www.art.com

First you have to take a photo of your painting and save it onto your computer as a jpg or png.

1. Go to the art.com web site. In the search box enter the terms "visual search".
2. On the left hand side, under VISUAL SEARCH, click on Match My Image.
3. Follow the steps to upload the photo of your painting.

If it finds an exact match, it will tell you the title and the artist. If it can't find an exact match, click on the Similar Art or Same Theme tabs and see what you get.

Another site that lets you upload a picture of your painting and then looks for information about it is Reverse Image Search (RevImg) at http://www.revimg.net/mobile.php.

Thank you so much!

Let us know what you find out (when or if you have the time to look into it). Maybe you have a famous painting.
