Ken Franklin's Cabin - Murder By The Book

Three years Mitch, Walt and myself had a terrific thread going regarding the location of Ken Franklin's cabin at Big Bear Lake. We all agreed, without a doubt, that the cabin was situated in the Fawnskin area, 39760 Flicker Road to be exact. Last night I was doing a bit research and came across this youtube marketing video for a cabin on Flicker road. CHECK IT OUT! This may not be the exact cabin but Ken Franklin's cabin must have been next door for sure. Compare the photos below to the backdrop in particular the shape of the cove and the undulations in the hills in the distance. This is definitely it. Enjoy.

Re: Ken Franklin\\\\\\'s Cabin - Murder By The Book

Always loved the Columbo episode Murder by the book. Have been curious about the cabin location as well so I am heading up to big bear in the morning. Will post a reply and photo if any success.

Re: Ken Franklin's Cabin - Murder By The Book

I posted this in another thread, but Jack Cassidy's ex-wife lived in Big Bear.
