Actors who played a same character role in Columbo and something else

I don't know if this has been mentioned?
Edward Hibbert played a dodgy art dealer who was murdered in Murder She Wrote and in Columbo. Different names though, Philip Jovet then Bramley Kahn. Both in 1994.

In CANDIDATE FOR CRIME Tisha Sterling played a woman who was the motive for a politician to kill his campaign manager. In an Alfred Hitchcock Hour called CHANGE OF ADDRESS she was the partial motive for a man to kill his wife. (In each case, she didn't know about it.)

Coincidentally, I think CHANGE OF ADDRESS had Robert Karnes as a police detective, just like CANDIDATE FOR CRIME.

One of the best known is Patrick McGoohan who played spies/gov't informers in the Prisoner, Secret Agent/Danger Man and Identity Crisis.

In a way Anne Baxter is playing an imitation of herself in REQUIEM FOR A FALLING STAR. But on top of that she of course had played big-name actresses like Nora before, the most obvious time being ALL ABOUT EVE. (Who knows - maybe the Eve character in that story would be in Nora's position by 1972.)

This is about a suspect not a killer, but Brett Halsey plays a man who's a very good suspect in DEATH LENDS A HAND because of his involvement with the female victim, and he plays a similar part in the movie THE GIRL IN LOVERS' LANE (which most of us know as an MST3K episode).

Donald Pleasence played a criminal in Columbo and a criminal in Mrs Columbo.

There's Bradford Dillman in THE GREENHOUSE JUNGLE and the movie COMPULSION (about Leopold and Loeb). In the one story he's part of a faked kidnapping that ends in a murder (his murder) and in the other one he's also part of a faked kidnapping that ends in one.

When Patrick O'Neal gets slapped disdainfully by Forrest Tucker in "Blueprint For Murder" it literally duplicates an identical scene in the movie "In Harms Way" when Kirk Douglas does the same thing to O'Neal. Same case of the more "uncouth" character showing what he thinks of the intellectual know-it-all.

One year after "Identity Crisis", Barbara Rhoades showed up on "Switch" not as the same character but still wearing the same outfit!
