Richard Dysart 1929-2015

I notice no mention of this but the actor Richard Dysart died a couple of weeks ago. He played Max Duval in the episode Murder under Glass.

I've never been very familiar with him, I'm afraid, though I always liked him.

Re: Richard Dysart 1929-2015

A lot of us remember him best from "LA Law", where he was very effective as the senior attorney who was something of a father-figure to the firm's headstrong gang of trial-lawyers. It was a good show, and he made it better.

I don't know it well, but he was very good in THE TERMINAL MAN, as one of the experimenters on the George Segal character.

Re: Richard Dysart 1929-2015

I remember Dysart mostly as the only actor I don't associate with his role in Columbo as much as the character he played in "Being There" who saw Chance (Peter Sellers) for who he actually was.
