Fellow fans,
I have an amazing announcement to make and I just don't know how this happened. I have been watching Columbo and loving it like we all do, since 1970. Yesterday I found an episode that I have never seen before even though some episodes I've watched dozens of times. How did this happen? The name of the episode? Columbo likes the nightlife. Unbelievable! But the great news is that it is a real treat to watch a new one. Obviously he's getting on a bit (76 ish?) but amazing find for me. Can anyone suggest how I could possibly have missed this treasure?

Sorry to burst your bubble but we all know about that one. That was the last episode ever filmed. It's available on DVD like all the other Columbo episodes.

Not that great an episode to be honest. Not many of the last few specials came close to the original series but there are a few that are pretty good.

To be honest the best thing about Columbo Likes The Nightlife is Jennifer Sky. She is so hot in that show.

It is better than Undercover but that's not saying much.

I actually think that it's a fun one to watch. A terrible ending with the fish but good interplay with the suspect. That is a beautiful actress. I wouldn't have minded seeing more of her.

Nightlife has one of the more ridiculous clues where, hours after a man is violently murdered and his corpse dropped down a flight or two, Columbo smells mouthwash on him. It reminds me of The Most Crucial Game when Columbo notices that the water around the decking is fresh and not chlorinated. The water should have evaporated anyway, but even so how can you smell/taste the difference?

Hi, sadly this was the last ever Columbo to be made, the earlier ones get a lot of re runs hence why you probably missed it.
