Away From The Numbers

All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired.

The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive.

This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. There will be a comment sections and possibly even a new, registered forum. Check our Twitter (@aftnwebsite) for all the latest info and we'll also post in on the EFFC memories Facebook page.

Until then, have a last browse here, thanks for all your support over the years, and 'Mon the Fife.

Tonight's scores

Dumbarton beating 10-man Peterhead.

Rovers losing to Dundee though!

Re: Tonight's scores

Dumbarton 3-0

That's them 8 points ahead of us but we've got 4 games in hand on them.

Re: Tonight's scores

Have ti win them tho SPF !!

Re: Tonight's scores

Need to create chances and score goals first. I like the look of Wallace. Fast and enthusiastic.

Re: Tonight's scores

Would like to see us try to bring in Tom Brighton would played a few games for Dundee but couldn't sign due to them not being allowed. We desperately need a boost up front.

Re: Tonight's scores

Airdrie beating Forfar 1-0.

Table not looking pretty as it stands.

Re: Tonight's scores

2-0 Airdrie !

Re: Tonight's scores

Brechin 1-0 livi FT

Re: Tonight's scores

Its a mental league.

Forfar have hardly played any matches, and are shite (or certainly have been every time I've seen them). Yet look at them up there in a play off place.

Alloa have been terrible for months, yet don't seem to be in any danger.

Dumbarton, haven't seen a turnaround like that for a long time. Who'd have thought that after beating them 6-0 that they'd end up being the one's challenging for promotion whilst we would go on to fight a relegation battle?

Stenhousemuir, aside from our 6-0 win over them, they are by far the worst side I've seen, and they'll fight us all the way to make sure they don't finish bottom.

Really hoping Peterhead are on a big slump now, although all other results are pretty meaningless unless we start winning ourselves. I really hope we dont lose tomorrow.

Cheers for that, maybe i'll return the favour by helping you spell your username.

I mind us wiping the floor with Forfar in the Cup not so long ago, they hardly touched the ball. They were also poor in a couple of other matches (unfortunately we weren't any better).

Harsh!

We missed a penalty but they missed an open goal at the death to beat us in that last game. They also never suffered with an instant loss of form after an even longer break of postponed games - the excuse we were keen to use. They even won their first game back no bother.

We wiped the floor with them in the Cup as we'd Byrne and Crawford to help the team. Was also the then 'SPL manager has just taken over' feel-good factor.

Re: Tonight's scores

The fact that a team as basic as them are doing so well speaks volumes about the quality of this league, and it would be an absolute travesty to be relegated from it.

There had been no better or truer statement on this site for ages!!
(We won't tho, beat Airdrie on saturday and we're back in the mix. Anything 2moro is a bonus.
