I took the OT2 exam while on leave at NAS Pensacola. I had just flown in from Kef, so I didn't have a set of whites or salt & peppers. My uncle was an AC1 and helped me get a uniform together so I could take the exam. After the proctors read their opening statements and asked if we needed pencils or other items for the test, I put up my hand and asked for some manuevering boards. He looked at me all confused and I tried to explain what they were without telling him what OT's did. I finally remembered something and asked him for a polar coordinate chart and he was able to set me right up.
