Just go to Facebook and in the search area type in "NAVFAC Argentia" and for Iceland type in "NASKEF". These are group pages on Facebook. You can watch them there. There's a lot more on each!
Russ, I'm on FB and can't find the ref links when doing a search. If I search for either of the names that you mention, I get too many hits to sort through.
I just double checked to see how these came up. I just typed "NAVFAC Argentia" and the group page was the first of a couple. The group has 244 members. While doing this I also just found another group on FB: U.S. Naval Facility Argentia Newfoundland with 470 members. I typed in NASKEF and the only two sites that came up was the NASKEF group with over 1400 members and NASKEF airport. Some Icelanders and a few folks who were dependent kids at KEF on this page. The Argentia videos are actually on YOUTUBE. There are some other really neat things on YOUTUBE for Arg, too. It just seemed eaiser to for me to watch on FB since I was already there. MY 7 yr old COMPAQ with dial-up just can't handle the load any more.
There is also a NAVFAC Argentia reunion 2010 page on FB. I'm thinking of reviving that after the first of the year for a <<<2012 back to the rock>>> page. anyone interested????
Russ - Placentia is having a come-home year next summer and I have heard rumors that a bunch of face book users were trying to arrange a NavFac reunion around the same time frame. Nothing concrete at this time though. Frog
