If I may request your assistance I would like to use the newsletter to call for help from the IUSSCAA membership. In our effort to bridge the gap between yesterday's and today's IUSS Sailor, we are searching for any IUSS items of historical significance that we can display here at NOPFWI. Display cases are being built, and several pieces of gear/plaques/badges/cups/photos etc. that tell the IUSS story across the various Naval Facilities are going to be placed within.

If anyone has something they would like to donate or lend to the historical display, I ask they please contact Tim Wenzel (timothy.wenzel@navy.mil) here at NOPFWI to coordinate. Our intention is to give full credit to those who want to help by recognizing the individual with a name plate in the display ("donated from the personal collection of OTC J.P. Jones").

The desire is to have items in time to have them on display as part of the NOPFWI Silver Anniversary celebration/ceremony on 13 July 2012.
