It is more important to know what disrupting turbulence hasn't got an associated biologic or mechanical acoustic signature linked I suspect. Light fences could corral and eliminate choices in a silent world of motion. The analyst's job in such a world might be more a sanity evaluation task than hunter. Fun to think about the problem.
