robert l. crampton--passing

I regret to inform the IUSS alumni community of the passing of retired Senior Chief Robert Louis Crampton on January 23, 2012--

He was diagnosed with liver cancer in Oct 2011, and it was swift and vicious--

His cremated remains will, at a future date, be scattered over Puget Sound in Washington state, by his wife Penny Crampton, married 33 years--

Re: robert l. crampton--passing

Penny,I remember you both so well and I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am about Bob's passing....I wish you strength as you try to deal with this and please know that many people will be thinking of you. 33 years together is quite an acomplishment and I'm sure one filled with many sweet memories.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I was fortunate to serve with him several times, and I have nothing but the fondest of memories... Please know you and yours are in my prayers.
